World History Curriculum Guides PDF Print E-mail

Through a Florida-based educational publishing company, I published my world history curriculum in two separate books:

  • Modern World History
Description: Over the last 200 years the world has changed dramatically. Drawing on events in Africa, Eastern and Western Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia, this course investigates the themes of democracy, revolution, war, genocide, and modernization. Additionally, a major focus of the course revolves around the economic, political, and ideological exchanges between the nations.

  • Western Civilization
Description: In the last 200 years the Western Civilization has dominated world affairs, from the transition to democratic styles of government to economic and political domination of the developing world to both world wars. This course traces the evolution of democratic thought, the impact of historical events in individual¹s lives, the influence of Western Europe, both positive and negative, throughout the world.

These guides represent curriculum I've taught in my college prep world history classes since 1998. They include class notes, PowerPoints, daily lesson plans, simulations, unit exams, worksheets, and pacing guides.
